Wow what a hidden gem. Best Indian food I’ve ever had with some dishes having a Chinese twist. Biriyani and vindaloo was mind blowing and Salt and Pepper okrafries are a must try!
The food was amazing. The owner made us feel welcomed the moment we walked in. Best hospitality service with regular check backs on the food. The food itself was very delicious. I will definitely return.
I visited Mandovi hoping to try their thali, but unfortunately, it was sold out because it is popular. Instead, I tried a few other dishes—Chicken Manchurian, garlic naan, squid, chicken lollipop, and a refreshing Limbu soda. Every dish was flavorful and well-prepared, and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for a satisfying meal with great service. I will return to try the thali . I did return for thali and it was tasty ! Also well priced
Swindon has a secret and it’s called Mandovi. If you're into bold spices and coastal Indian flavours, this is the place to be. From calamari to squid to lamb – every bite hit hard. Full on flavour. But that Mixed Grill… that was next level - juicy, perfectly cooked and packed with taste. The vibes? Warm and welcoming. The service? Spot on. And the food? Simply unforgettable. This isn’t just dinner, it’s an experience. Please go try Mandovi!
Had gone with my girls as they spoke highly of the food & service. Indeed the manager/owner was very pleasant and welcoming. He took care to every need & requirement. Drinks were made just right & to the mark. Though the atmosphere was appealing, I was taken back by the chef’s interaction towards me. The 4 star rating was a way to express my concern over how a guest should be addressed. Yes! I came with my grown-up children so that doesn’t mean the chef can call me Aunty, while he looked old man in white beard. I’m extremely satisfied overall. Just a request to the owner: Please make sure that the staff doesn’t address the guest as Aunty/Uncle. People like me take that as offense and having to be a repeat guest, a second thought. Thank you.
